There are two types: pristine traps (addresses that were never used by a real person) and recycled traps (old abandoned addresses repurposed as traps). Sending to even one spam trap can get your entire domain blacklisted. What are catch-all or accept-all email addresses?
A catch-all (accept-all) domain is a mail server configured to accept email sent to any address at that domain, regardless of whether a specific mailbox actually exists. For example, anything@catchall-domain.com would be accepted. This makes it impossible to confirm individual mailbox existence via SMTP. Our verifier identifies these domains and marks them as "Unknown" status.
